iRoChat Privacy Policy

1. Information Collection

The iRoChat Team (the "Platform") collects only the minimum information necessary to provide a secure and functional communication environment. This includes:

  • Account Data: Email address, username, and encrypted password.
  • Presence Data: Real-time status (Online/Idle), currently playing games (if enabled by the user), and Spotify activity (if linked).
  • Technical Logs: IP addresses (for security and anti-fraud purposes), device information, and crash reports to improve software stability.

2. Use of Information

Collected data is used strictly for:

  • Facilitating real-time voice and text communication.
  • Verifying account authenticity and preventing malicious activities (e.g., bot attacks or bug exploits).
  • Processing in-platform transactions (iRo purchases) and maintaining inventory records.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Encryption: All sensitive data, including passwords and personal tokens, are stored using industry-standard encryption methods.
  • Limited Access: Only authorized members of the iRoChat Team have access to backend databases for maintenance and security purposes.
  • No Guarantee: While we implement robust security measures, the Platform cannot guarantee 100% security against sophisticated cyber-attacks or unauthorized third-party breaches.

4. Third-Party Integration and External Links

  • Game Presence: The Platform may scan active window titles to display game activity. Users can use the "Ignore" feature (Eye icon) to prevent specific applications from being tracked or reported.
  • External Servers: The Platform provides access to user-created rooms or third-party servers. iRoChat does not control how these third parties handle data within their private environments.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Users have the right to request the deletion of their accounts. Upon account termination, personal data is scrubbed from our active databases, except for information required to be kept by law or for financial record-keeping (e.g., transaction history).

6. Privacy Policy Changes

The iRoChat Team reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
